Projects
Projects and sub-projects with a colour, an icon, an hourly rate and an owning company. Time and expense tracking toggle per project.
Tasks
Kanban, list and grid views over tasklists with your own stages. Sub-tasks, priorities, due and scheduled dates, estimates, recurring tasks, and an undo window on anything destructive.
Time
Start/stop tracking with several timers running at once, a week calendar you drag entries onto, and the project’s hourly rate snapshotted onto each entry.
Money
Wallets in any currency, income, expenses and transfers, categories, and totals converted to your base currency with daily FX rates.
Companies
Client and company records that tie together the projects, tasks and transactions belonging to them.

How it works
One data layer, real relationships
Projects, tasks, time entries, transactions, companies and notes are not separate apps stitched together by exports. They are rows in the same database that point at each other — which is the only reason a project page can show hours, money and progress at the same time.
- A time entry knows its project — and snapshots that project’s hourly rate at the moment you tracked it, so a later rate change never rewrites history.
- A transaction knows its wallet, its category, its currency and, when it belongs to client work, its company.
- A task knows its project, its tasklist stage, its tags, its due date and its recurrence rule.
- A project gathers all of the above, plus its roadmap, its notes and its schema diagrams, on one page.

Personal mode is the whole workspace, unified — every project, wallet, task and log you own in one view, with nothing switched off.
A team
Invite people into a workspace as owner, admin or member. Projects and wallets can move into the team, and switching workspaces switches the whole app with you.

Each workspace decides which modules it runs. A work team gets projects, tasks, time, money and companies — and never sees your sleep log.

FAQ
Questions worth answering honestly
Is Trakys free?
Yes — every module, no ads, no trial, nothing moved behind a paywall. Paying is optional: a Team plan for larger team workspaces, and a one-time way to support the project if you want it to keep going.
Is there a mobile app?
A native iOS and Android app is in development, planned for September. Until then Trakys installs to your phone’s home screen as a PWA — its own icon, its own window, no app store — and the layout adapts down to phone widths.
Can I use it with a team?
Yes. Create a workspace, invite people as owner, admin or member, and switch between your personal space and each team from the sidebar. You choose which modules a workspace turns on, so a work team never sees your sleep log.
Does it handle more than one currency?
Yes. Each wallet has its own currency, and totals are converted to your base currency using daily exchange rates. Amounts are stored as exact decimals in the wallet’s own currency, so nothing drifts.
Can I import my data from another tool?
Money imports PDF bank statements — parsed rows you review before committing. A general importer from other task or time trackers is not built yet; it is on the list, but saying so beats shipping a half-working importer.

Trakys is developed by Mark Semikhov, a member of ProjectM Team. Thanks to the ProjectM Team members who helped with testing and contributed along the way.
It started as the tool its author needed and could not buy: the projects, the hours, the money and the habits were spread over five subscriptions that never agreed with each other. It has been in daily use by the person who writes it since long before it had a landing page — which is why the module list above is short and finished rather than long and aspirational.
