Trakys is designed and built by Mark Semikhov and the small group he ships under, ProjectM Team — the same people behind Avarmit in Europe and ProjectM in the US. One team, two flags.
Why it exists
Trakys started as the tool its author needed and could not buy. The projects lived in one app, the hours in a second, the money in a third, and the habits nowhere at all. None of them agreed with each other, and answering something as basic as what a piece of work had actually cost meant three exports and an afternoon.
So the whole thing was rebuilt on one database, where a time entry knows its project and a transaction knows its company. That single decision is the reason a project page can show hours, money and progress at the same time, and it is the reason the module list is short — every module has to earn its place in that graph.
It is used before it is shipped
Trakys has been in daily use by the people who write it since long before it had a landing page. That is not a marketing line — it is why the feature list is finished rather than aspirational, and why the pages here are blunt about what does not exist yet. Nobody wants to be the person whose own tool lies to them.
How it is funded
Self-funded, out of the studio’s other work. There is no investor, no growth target and no billing switched on. The practical consequence is that the product changes when something is genuinely wrong with it, not when a quarter ends.
