TrakysCookie Policy

Trakys uses the minimum set of cookies needed to run the Service, plus analytics cookies that help us see how the site and the app are used. Analytics is on by default — by continuing to use Trakys you agree to it, and you can turn it off below at any time. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies at all.

Analytics
We use a third-party analytics provider to see how many people visit, which pages they read and where they arrive from — on the website and inside the app. Aggregate numbers only: no advertising profiles, no ad personalisation, and IP addresses are anonymised.
Analytics runs by default when you use Trakys. If you would rather not have analytics cookies, switch them off here — the choice is stored in this browser and applies to all future visits:
What turning analytics off does — and does not do
Turning analytics off stops analytics cookies: nothing further is written to your device and no identifier follows you between visits. Anonymous visit counting continues either way — our analytics provider still receives cookieless pings (no cookies, no identifiers), and our own self-hosted counter, which never stores anything on your device, still counts the visit. In both cases a repeat visit looks like a new one; you are a number in a total, not a profile.
Changing your mind
Your choice is stored in trakys.consent in your browser, together with the version of this policy it was given for — if the policy changes in substance, we ask again. Turning analytics off stops any further analytics storage immediately; already-set _ga cookies stop being used and expire on their own, or you can clear them in your browser settings. Clearing your site data for Trakys resets the choice back to the default.
Disabling cookies
You can clear cookies in your browser settings. Note that disabling the session cookie will sign you out and prevent log-in.
