Questions about Trakys, answered honestly

Yes. There is no billing switched on at all — no plans, no card, no trial that expires. You create an account and use the whole workspace.

This is a statement about today, not a promise for ever. If a paid tier ever appears it will be announced here first, and nothing you have already put in gets held hostage.

No quota is enforced on the things you create. Fair-use limits exist at the infrastructure level the way they do for any hosted service, but you will not hit a counter that tells you to upgrade.

There is a donate option on the home page — PayPal or USDT. It buys you nothing: the account is identical either way. It exists because a few people asked.

Trakys is a web app, and it installs to your phone's home screen as a PWA — its own icon, its own window, no app store and no update to download.

The layout adapts down to phone widths, with a bottom tab bar for the five everyday modules and the rest behind the menu.

There is no App Store or Play Store listing today. If that changes it will be on the blog.

No. The service worker is there for installability, not for offline editing — Trakys needs a connection to load and to save.

Any current Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. The interface leans on modern CSS, so a browser several years out of date will look wrong even where it works.

Yes. Create a workspace, invite people by email, and switch between your personal space and each team from the sidebar. Switching changes the whole app, not just a filter.

How workspaces work

Owner, admin and member. Three, deliberately — an invite can grant admin or member, and owner is never handed out through one.

No. Each workspace chooses which modules it runs; a new team starts with projects, tasks, time, money and companies. Sleep, endurance and everything else stay in your personal space and are not visible to a team you invite people into.

Yes — projects can be shared with a friend as viewer or editor, and time tracking honours the grant. It is the lighter option when a workspace is more structure than the situation needs.

Yes. Each wallet has its own currency and amounts are stored as exact decimals in it, so nothing drifts through rounding. Totals across wallets are converted to your base currency using daily rates.

If a rate lookup fails, the last good rates are used rather than breaking the page, and an unknown currency code converts one-to-one instead of throwing.

A project can carry an hourly rate, and every time entry snapshots that rate at the moment you tracked it. Changing the rate later therefore never rewrites what past work was worth.

Trakys does not generate or send invoices today. It gives you the hours and the rate; the invoice itself happens somewhere else.

Yes, several at once. There is also a week calendar you can drag entries onto, and drag the edges of, when you are filling in a day after the fact.

Not yet. There is no working import today — everything starts empty and you add projects, wallets and tasks yourself.

It is on the list. Saying so is better than shipping an importer that silently mangles half a year of history.

You can request a copy or a deletion at any time by email, and we act on it. There is no self-service export button in the interface yet.

Only as salted hashes, using a deliberately slow algorithm. Your session lives in an httpOnly cookie, which means no token is ever readable by page JavaScript.
