Working with other people, without giving up your own workspace

Trakys separates your personal space from every team you are in, and lets each team decide which modules it even has. The result is that one account holds both halves of your life without leaking either into the other.

Two modes, never both at once

You are always looking at exactly one workspace, and switching changes the whole app rather than filtering a list. There is no ambiguity about which world a new project lands in.

Personal

The unified default. Every project, wallet, task and log you own, with every module available. This is where your own work and your own life live.

A team

A separate world with its own members, projects and wallets. You can be in several; the sidebar switches between them.

Three roles, deliberately

Not a permission matrix. A small team does not need one, and every extra row in a permission table becomes a support question six months later.

Owner

Everything, including deleting the workspace. Never granted through an invite.

Admin

Manage members, invites and the workspace's content.

Member

Work in the workspace: projects, tasks, time and the modules it has switched on.

Invites go out by email and can grant admin or member. Pending invites can be revoked, and members can be removed.

A workspace decides which modules it runs

This is the part that makes one account workable for both work and life. A new team starts with Projects, Tasks, Time, Money, Companies — and nothing else. Sleep, endurance and the rest stay in your personal space, invisible to the people you invite.

Shared wallets

A wallet created personally can be moved into a team, transactions and all. From then on it is the team’s — which is how a shared card stops being a spreadsheet somebody emails around.

Or share just one project

When a whole workspace is more structure than the situation needs, a single project can be shared with a friend as viewer or editor. Task and board access follows the grant, and so does time tracking.

More detail on everything above is in the features page and the FAQ.
