Trakys

The money side of client work

Trakys now covers the money side of client work: bank statement imports, PDF invoices, and a private progress portal for each client. Tags: money, invoices, clients

Time tracking tools usually stop where the money starts. You track the hours in one app, invoice from another, check payments in your bank, and answer "where are we?" emails by hand. The latest Trakys updates close that loop.

Bank statements in, not typed in

Manual entry is why most personal finance trackers get abandoned. In Trakys you drop a PDF statement from your bank, review the parsed rows, fix anything that looks off, and commit them in one go. Rows you already imported are skipped automatically, and every import stays in history — so nothing gets counted twice.

Invoices where the money already lives

Trakys generates a PDF invoice straight from the money module: pick a client and the billing block prefills from what you used last time. Every generated PDF is kept, so re-sending an invoice months later is a download, not a reconstruction.

A page for your client instead of a status email

Every client can get a private read-only portal: a page behind a secret key with published roadmap snapshots and an update log. You decide what gets published and when; the client checks progress whenever they want, without an account and without another "quick sync" call.

Why this belongs together

Projects, hours, invoices and client communication are one workflow, not four products. Keeping them in one place means the portal shows the actual roadmap, the invoice sits next to the payments it belongs to, and nothing is copied between tools by hand.
